My children were 8 & 9 yrs when we bought this. Noticed some children couldn't carry it & one was damaged. My kids are really careful with things & carrying it has never been a problem, since we either leave it in the car or store it in our closet. Mom loves it!!! We would never be able to keep up with all those cartridges & be able to keep the books neat without bending the pages. I have been able to sell books in mint condition online, because of this great system. Would buy this for anyone with a leap pad. These used to be much higher in the stores. I think the quality is great.

My six year old granddaughter no longer has to search for her cartridges in her toy chest because they're now neatly stored in the case which also holds all of her books. She loves feeling that she's carrying a case that she can unzip like a briefcase rather than the smaller backpack case. The zipper is very durable and well contructed. Because she's tall, she's able to carry the case much better than a younger child could. I would recommend the backpack case for anyone shorter than 48 inches.

We received this item as a gift (from our wish list) and I don't know what we would do without it! It conveniently stores everything, is durable, offers a degree of protection for the unit itself and is just so handy! My son really enjoys sorting through the organizer and putting each cartridge just where he wants it. For the substantial investment the leap pad system is, this organizer is absolutely worth buying.

Our 4 year old son received this item for Christmas and it has proven to be a great item to help him stay organized. Until now, his Leap Pad, books, and cartridges could be found (or not!) in any corner of our house. Now he has a place to store everything that he needs to effectively use his Leap Pad. We've found that he plays with it more often because he knows where everything is and doesn't have to go on a mad search for a particular book and its matching cartridge. There is a large pocket for the Leap Pad itself, medium sized pockets for the books and small mesh pockets for the cartridges. All easily accessible to little hands. This is a GREAT compliment to the Leap Pad and its accessories and it's never too early to begin teaching the art of organization to a child!

I purchased this to hold my girl's quatum LeapPad. Everything fits perfectly inside. I fnd myself stuffing all sorts of things in it when we travel. It is very handy when going on trips to keep both the LeapPad and maps, lists, directions, etc. If you own a LeapPad product, you need to at least consider this organizer to protect your investment.

I thought this product was great when I first purchased it. What a wonderful way to keep little toys organized and together. We no longer spend 20 minutes looking for the little cartridges that allow my son's leap frog to play. I have found two major problems with this system. My son is 5, and loves his leap pad, but he can't get the leap pad in and out of the pocket that is designed to hold it. We have resorted to just shoving it into the zip pouch and it unfailingly falls on the floor while he tries to get it out. My son also has about 6 cartridges and books which are in the organizer with the leap pad. The combination of the weight is too much for him to carry and I always end up carrying it for him. An adjustable shoulder strap would have been SOOOOO much better! It frustrates us both!

I wanted the backpack, but none in stock. I bought this item, and after a few weeks of less than normal wear and tear, the zipper broke. Leap Pad customer service wouldn't help, said I was the first to complain of a quality problem. What an inconvenience and a big, big disappointment. Good concept, but watch out! Think twice before buying this bag.

The organizer only has room for 12 books/cartridges. My 4 yr old has 20, so I put two books to a pocket. I store one right side up and the other one upside down to keep the spiral binders from tangling. The down side to this is sometimes the corners of the books curl up but does not disrupt operation of the system.

My storage options now is to buy another organizer, store the extra books/cartridges in a large rubbermaid container, or store them in large ziplock bags with cartridges.

My 4 year old son just got a LeapPad system with 9 books for Christmas, and this is the perfect way to store and transport it. We did write a number in permanent marker on each book and then the corresponding cassette, so now he can match them up himself. With this carrier, he can take his whole system with him in the car! It is very easy for him to put the different parts in the case himself.

This is the perfect storage system for the Leap Pad Books & Cartriges keeping everything together....You can purchase this at your local Toys R Us and save on the s&h if your not ordering enough merchandise to take advantage of any free s&h offer they may be running.
