The manufacturer's description fails to mention that all of the place names on this fantastic toy are in Spanish. I was excited to get something that would help my kids learn both geography and Spanish, but using this globe would require them to learn Spanish before they could really make use of the wealth of games and challenges it provides. I'll be returning mine in exchange for an english-only version... I'll have to provide the Spanish instruction myself.

I was very excited to receive my daughter's birthday gift on time after having ordered it to be shipped overnight. This elation was soon consumed by disappointment when I discovered that the text on the globe as well as on the control panel was in Spanish. Its wonderful that you can choose to have the globe speak in either language, but the fact that my daughter can't read Spanish just yet, hindered her ability to play some of the games (locating a country/continent in an allotted period of time)and makes it difficult for her understand. It was heartbreaking to tell her that the gift she wanted most would have to be returned. I am still having the hardest time finding out if this particular globe is available in English at all. The customer service rep wasn't quite sure. When I look for the English version on the site, it reverts to the previous version(Explorer Globe)which is not what I want. Now what? The product is awesome, just be advised that the text is in Spanish.

My son was so excited to get this toy - he tore apart the box, put in the batteries and turned it on to find out it was in Spanish, which he doesn't understand. Easily, we found the button to change the language to English. That was great except all the test is in Spanish. There was no mention of that when I purchased this globe. My son and I are both very dissappointed and have not been able to exchange the $100 globe for an English version!

First of all my grandson received the wrong item. I ordered

the English version and he received the Spanish version.

Secondly my daughter returned the wrong item and to date have

received nothing.
