Not worth it!,

This review is from: LeapFrog Baby Lilypad Vibrating Teether (Baby Product)
Not even 24 hours into owning this the vibrate STOPPED working all together & once my 3 1/2 month old daughter figured out how to make it start vibrating it wouldn't turn off. Then we finally got it to stop & sat it down only to have it keep going until it died by itself after we tried everything for it to stop vibrating. We're still going to use it, but the vibration part was complete crap.

Didn't last two days....,

My little girl loved this teether from the first day but on day two it started vibrating nonstop without anyone even touching it and now has quit altogether. Good idea but very poorly constructed.

Too difficult for a baby,

At first I thought this was broken, but then found you had to squeeze it extremely hard, harder than a baby could ever do... and then it did stop working.

Wish I didn't waste my money,
This review is from: LeapFrog Baby Lilypad Vibrating Teether (Baby Product)
This is a cute idea-however mine would hardly vibrate unless you squeezed it very hard, much harder than a baby could. And by the time we had it a week it stopped working all together. I can't find a place on it to replace the batteries-and Amazon won't take it back unless it is in the original packaging. Save yourself some money and buy something else.

I bought this and a month later it needed new batteries which was surprising because we never used it. It was too hard to get to vibrate by an adult much less a baby. Save your money and buy one without batteries.

I had high hopes for this teether. I think the idea behind it is great, however the one I purchased was broken.

As one who employs the method of constructive criticism, I will begin by saying that the overall design of this teether is exactly what I wanted. The colors and construction are ideal, and I found the exclusion of BPA essential. If there was any doubt in my mind that the previous product reviews were an anomaly in regards to the vibration function, those doubts exist no more. As soon as the teether was washed and sanitized, the product activated without manipulation, and I had to strike it forcefully to render it stagnant. Further revision and improvement are needed to rectify that issue as well as the lack of battery replacement access. My son loved it still, in spite of the loss of vibration, but I would not recommend it to those who require that feature.

I bought this item because the package said it was easy for a baby to make vibrate. I opened it up and couldn't get it to work, so I called the customer service number and they told me to squeeze it together. I do so and it began vibrating. I told the woman that and she said to give it time. It has been a couple days and the only way to get it to work is to squeeze it together or press hard on two at the same time. What baby can figure that out? If mama can't get it to work how can baby? Don't buy it, but if you do you are lucky if you get one that works right!
