I was hesitant to buy this for my 4 year old grandson, but I'm glad I did. He absolutely loves this game. I especially like the learning session intervals. What I like most is that he gets to play with fighting scenes without the inappropriate graphics that games for older kids have.

I bought this game for my 4 year old and he plays it for hours. He is not only being entertained but is learning to spell words. Because of this game he is always asking how to spell many words he sees other places.

I don't understand all of these reviews from parents of 5 year olds complaining that the game is violent and not educational enough when it is not recommended for that age group. The games for Didj (especially this one) are MUCH better than the games for PSP or DS and MUCH more age appropriate. Manufacturer recommendations are there for a reason. Our 8 year old LOVES this game and does learn a lot from it. That's the reason we bought the Didj instead of the DS or PSP because the games do have value and they are much more educational than the games for those systems.

I bought this game for my 6 year old son, as opposed to a DS or PSP, thinking that it would be educational first and foremost. Wrong. I tested it out before I gave it to him and was very disappointed. On the 'easy' level, the game pauses periodically to have you identify three letters. That's it. The letters don't even form a word. But the main reason I returned it is that it is (in my opinion) too violent for a kindergartener. Of course I expected fighting, but what I didn't expect was Wolverine to have to repeatedly slash his opponents in order to get past them. There was no blood or anything, but it requires quite a bit of aggression and persistence.

Wolvarine Didj game,

Over the last year my kids have gotten most the Didj games. The Wolvarine game is no more violent than the cartoon & my 5yr old likes it a lot. With Didj games the more you play the harder the questions; he has to spell 4-5 character words now on this game. The games are great but the Didj units are another story; both of ours periodically have had trouble loading games.

My 5 year old got this present with his new Diji. Not only could he not play it, but it's just a violent game with very little educational value. It only asks about a letter every few minutes while slashing and hacking through enemies. I hope there are better games out there for this game systems, otherwise, it will be on eBay very soon.
