Quite possibly the worst of all My First LeapPad titles. Buy Jay Jay or Vroom or Dora instead -- much better efforts. I am stunned at the lack of imagination and creativity on the part of LeapFrog's and Disney's product development staff on this title. This is what you get for your approximately $13 investment: A litany of one-liners from the movie, including "Ka-Ching, ka ka ka ka-chow;" "I swear, tractors is so dumb;" and so on. Other educational tidbits: Your child gets to learn when the first Volkswagen was made (sigh). The list of useless factoids in this product is almost endless. I mean, seriously, people. This is NOT educational. Get off it. Those people that rated this 5 stars have not had to listen to tractors "Moo" or hear Lightning "Ka-Chow" 10,000 times (while in the car)...maybe they should revisit their reviews after 6 months and let us know what they think. It has perhaps one or two worthwhile activities. It is, however, an abomination to sell this product. I was really offended by the "I swear" remark (I do not enjoy having my child repeat this to me and have to explain that it is not a very polite statement). If this is what we have become, then I guess I am wrong and this is a 5 star "educational" product. I would, however, like to think this lame product is an anomaly in the My First LeapPad line.

If we are cared for as customers, this particular incarnation of the Cars My First LeapPad book and cartridge will go the way of the dodo bird, and Pixar and LeapFrog will retool this product into one that is creative and educational. There were so many missed opportunities here to put out an age appropriate science and math teaching tool to the preschool set.

My 3-year-old son has a My First LeapPad and this cartridge is compatible with that system (as it states on the packaging). My son loves vehicles, was really into the movie "Cars", and absolutely adores this new cartridge. Previously, he spent a lot of time playing with the "Thomas" cartridge but this one has taken its place as his new favorite. In fact, he has gotten more use out of the LeapPad in the last week than he has since we gave it to him in April.

This is a hot subject with our 2 & 4-year old grandchildren. Disappointingly it does not work properly with our My First LeapPad and the children quickly lost interest in the book. I believe it is the LeapPad itself that is at fault, resulting in the low rating for the books. The book itself would be great!

My son just loves "Cars" and this was a great addition to the LeapPad. It makes all the car nosies and the characters are just as cute. The book covers numbers, shapes and more importantly car parts. Just make sure that you realize that this for "My First LeapPad" as the description states.

My son, who is 26 months old, loves this cartridge. He got it for Christmas and he very much enjoys hearing the cars talk and learning about the car parts as well as the usual shapes and colors. It is a great companion to the movie as well.

bought this as a gift for someone who has a leapfrog book. They are in love with cars so I thought it would be perfect. They just loved it and had lots of fun with it. Great buy!

4 year old daughter has always enjoyed her LeapPad and is a big fan of Mater. This was a fun addition for her.

My 3 year old is really enjoying her school bus. She is starting recognize her numbers and letters more easily.

I purchased this for my son who has started preschool this fall. He loved the movie, so I thought this would be great for him. It is very easy to use and very colorful. It has helped him learn some of his numbers and letter sounds. All of the My First Leap Pad books have been a great help to both of my children - one starting school and my daughter who still enjoys her games even as a kindergartener!

My daughter loves everything Lightening McQueen and this toy bores her. Spend your money on something else.
