I was so excited when I came across this toy. My 3 year old son loved the farm version of this toy when he was younger. I have 18 month old twins who also love the farm version, so when I saw this item I thought this would be a perfect addition to our refrigerator toy collection. It is educational and entertaining. However, Leapfrog changed the materials used and this "car wash" is not as sturdy as the farm we have from three years ago. The magnet isn't very strong so the toy slides down the refrigerator door. This frustrates my children since they enjoy working on the puzzle while standing. I now give the toy to them while they sit in their highchairs. They enjoy making matches and the vehicles are quite cute. Overall, I still like the toy since it encourages problem solving. The music is also cute and isn't too loud. From recent pictures I've seen of the farm, it looks to me as if it is different from the version I have so I am not sure that the problem I described is limited to this variation of the toy.

Got this toy for my son's 1st birthday. He has the farm version at his Nana's house and loves both toys! He carries them around, drops them frequently and pushes the buttons over and over... No problems. Neither one has slid down the fridge in the slightest and both take a beating and keep working great. I do like the voice on the farm version better but think the car wash one has more educational value since it says more information about each vehicle. Overall, I think it's great!

We have only had this toy for about a week, but have had no problems as in the other review. The toy has not slid down the fridge at all/no problems with the magnet. We, too, have the older version of the farm, and the newer versions of these toys ARE lighter and seem to be possibly less durable because of this. I guess time will tell on durability, but so far, this toy is exactly what I would expect (but I saw it in person, and knew it was lighter). I hope it holds up -- my older versions of the LeapFrog fridge toys have been favorites, and have taken a beating, but still work fine.

We bought the Wash & Go Magnetic Vehicle Set for our son's first birthday. Owning the alphabet fridge magnets AND the barnyard set, we were excited to add the vehicles to our collection. The sound on this set is terrible, and the song about the bubble wash is not only annoying, it's just sort of dumb. I would not recommend this product to anyone; I would steer them to the alphabet or barnyard fridge magnets.

So we have the Fridge Farm, it's a good toy, our daughter loved, it, we thought we'd get this version for our son. He loves it, the thing is, the songs are annoying. The farm version sings songs like Old MacDonald and whatnot. The song that goes along with this one is a tad painful. Having said that, my son sure doesn't care, he cracks up every time he plays with it. So I'd say it's a solid buy, but if you were choosing between this and the farm, I'd get the farm.

My son is very obsessed with anything that has "wheels" so when I saw this at Target, I knew I had to get it for him. I looked around a little, and the price here was good. He opened it up on Christmas and promptly yelled "wheels!", and I knew I made a good choice. Half the time it isn't on the fridge because he's carrying it around the house with him. It's slightly different from the barn animals one they have available in that you can put 2 mismatched pieces together and it comes up with a cute name for the "new" vehicle. There's 2 different volume levels, a button that just plays a song, and when you put the vehicle together in the magnetic area, it identifies it by color, congratulates you for making a match, and sings a little song. My son absolutely loves this toy.

I bought this for my 18 month old grandson. The car wash attaches to any magnetic surface very securely. The little cars, planes, etc are easy to pull off and he had not trouble putting them into the car wash. He loves to push the buttons to hear the music and sounds. There is a loudness setting that goes from off, to soft, to loud. It would have made more sense to make the LOUD setting in the middle, as a young child will switch to the two extremes, and not usually find the middle. However the sounds are not annoying, and the music is fun to listen to. There are quite a few songs. He sometimes walks off with some of the magnets, and since they come in two halves, I'm sure he will eventually lose some of the parts. Hopefully we can order replacement parts when that happens. Great toy! Amazon warned about small parts, but actually I think the parts are large enough that a little child could not swallow them.

This is a fun little toy for my son to play with on the fridge while I'm cooking. I think some people have mentioned the songs being annoying, but aren't all songs on kids' toys annoying? Either way, he loves playing with it. I paid about $12, which is well worth it to me.

We bought this for a Christmas gift for my 19 month old son. Straight out of the box the pieces were reading wrong.
I contacted leapfrog about the problem, and they were great help. At first they told me to make sure the contact tabs were all up and none were stuck down. They were all up, but every time I put a piece in, it was still reading it wrong. I let them know the problem was persisting, and they offered to just send me a new one that would work. AWESOME! I gave them my info & thought all was well. Fast forward 24 hours & I finally get a response back from them saying that they don't ship to APO. They offered to send me a new one & then once they found out I was overseas they would no longer stand behind their product. That's the last Leapfrog product I am EVER going to buy. And by reading the wrong pieces, I mean that "red fire engine" was "green tractor" and vice verca, then "Yellow car" was "White Plane" and also reversed. for a child who isn't confident in their colors, that can be very harmful. Way to go leapfrog. Not. Unfortunately I didn't buy this product from amazon, and since I buy christmas gifts about 3-4 months in advance to insure they get here on time, I can no longer return it to the store I bought it from. So there went $15 down the drain.

My son received this toy as a first birthday gift. It is a little beyond him right now. He can't quite get the parts into the right area yet, but if they are already there or we help him he can push them and hear the music. We (mom and dad) love this toy! We have fun playing with it and hearing the songs. We have not had any problems with it sliding down the fridge. It has been thrown a couple times without any consequence. The one issue I have it that it does sound like the toy has a lisp when it talks about the green train. It sounds like "gween twain". Not really a big deal just kind of a weird thing.
