5.0 out of 5 stars Dinosaur cards add something special to this LeapPad book
I bought "Leap and the Lost Dinosaur" for my kindergartner and he absolutely LOVES it. His favorite part is the page at the end which includes several clear plastic pockets in which he inserts the included dinosaur cards to hear how certain dinosaurs might have interacted if they came in contact. 3.0 out of 5 stars Speak Spanish?
I have 3 kids who simply love LeapFrog products. The problem is that we live in Mexico so we need to have the choice of language selection in these products.

This review is from: LeapFrog LeapPad Educational Book: Leap and the Lost Dinosaur with Interactive Cards (Toy)
I gave my son a snack-size resealable bag to store his cards in so they're less likely to become "extinct"! The folks at LeapPad thoughtfully included a "wild card" that can function as any of the dinosaurs in the collection in case one (or more) of the cards should happen to go missing. I am completely satisfied with this addition to our growing LeapPad library.

5.0 out of 5 stars Please read the books you review, September 27, 2004
This review is from: LeapFrog LeapPad Educational Book: Leap and the Lost Dinosaur with Interactive Cards (Toy)
All but two pages of the book will work just fine even if all of the cards are missing .
It might be best if reviews were based on actual experience and not assumptions made by people who "almost bought the book"

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Leap Pad Book, January 9, 2005
This review is from: LeapFrog LeapPad Educational Book: Leap and the Lost Dinosaur with Interactive Cards (Toy)
I bought this for my 5 year old son. This is by far the best leap pad book he has received. He has played with it almost daily for over a month now. The cards make it extra fun for him and they are easy to keep track of if you keep the book/disc and cards in the package.

5.0 out of 5 stars Different than other Leap books, September 13, 2005
This review is from: LeapFrog LeapPad Educational Book: Leap and the Lost Dinosaur with Interactive Cards (Toy)
My boys ages 6 and 3 love this book. It is different in that there is a deck of cards included that can be inserted in the back of the book and then the child can learn different facts about different dinosaurs...ie...how fast...when did he exist...how much did he eat. They love this part, "runs as fast as a chicken" "big as an elephant" it allows them to make a comparison to something they know.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the dino fan, August 9, 2005
This review is from: LeapFrog LeapPad Educational Book: Leap and the Lost Dinosaur with Interactive Cards (Toy)
My son loved this book so much that he got up at 6 a.m. the next day (lucky me!) just to play with it. And unlike most toys, this one has stayed close by and been used frequently since then. So this would have been a bargain even at full price. At this discounted price, WOW!

5.0 out of 5 stars The best for your little dino lover!, July 11, 2005
This review is from: LeapFrog LeapPad Educational Book: Leap and the Lost Dinosaur with Interactive Cards (Toy)
We bought this for our 4 year old son who loves dinosaurs. This is a very entertaining and educational book. My son enjoys the different pages with fun facts and games. The last page has a culminating activity using 16 interactive dinosaur cards. WE LOVE THIS! After learning about each of the dinosaurs he can play a game where he can improve his "title" by carefully deciding whether he should make friends with other dinosaurs or fight other dinosaurs. This is by far one of the best Leap Pad books.

Our 5 year old son is crazy about his leap pad dinosaur book. So far, he has managed not to lose any of the cards that come with it. He is hooked on dinosaurs and this book was a great tool for teaching him more and whetting his dinosaur appetite. Wonderful purchase!!!

My son has had this dinosaur book/card leap pad for about 4 years. He is now 8 and still plays with it. Has of yet to loose a single card. Our grandchildren also play with it and they are 14, 11, 9, and 7. Dinosaurs are universal. He wore out 2 electronic leap pads. Will need to pass this on to other family members when he finally decides that he has had enough!!! Just found the Leap pad 2 and 3 Dinosaurs, Hope they are just as fun!!!!

My 6 year old son loves his Leap Pad. Although he has 10 different books, this is his absolute favorite! He loves the cards and never seems to be bored with it. We have the Leap Pad Storage system (I highly recommend!) and that has made it easy for him to keep his cards together. When he's finished with the book he puts the cards in the mesh pocket of his storage system.
