5.0 out of 5 stars Great learning game for "little fairies"
My daughter just turned four and she loves this game. She is learning greater than and less than, matching skills, and how to reason. I am more than happy with the game and as a former teacher, I think it has a nice amount of educational value for little "fairies in training."

3.0 out of 5 stars extremely limited
As I said in my review for Nihao Kailan, what a piece of junk. I'm sure they spent all of 2 minutes creating this game. It is really cute, but there are only 4 extremely short games. The cut scenes don't move- they just show a few pics of the fairies. One of the 4 games seems to drag a lot. This game makes the really short Dora games look like masterpieces. Shame on them...

I bought this for my young three year old back at Christmas. As with all LeapFrog games, there are multiple levels so the game will grow with her as she learns. She has already picked up most of the basic concepts on the first level. And I like how the game not only teaches the concept of colors and counting, but allows her the freedom to color her own butterflies.

Shame on them for having the gall to put out this stuff.

Having said that, they are very cute little games. I would wait to buy them when they go under $7. I wonder if this is any indication of the other new character games??!!! Creature create is much better.

I read the reviews before I bought this game. My daughter just turned 3, but she is a quick learner, so I thought the level of this game would fit. I was wrong. It is her least favorite game. She likes to color on it, but not really play it. It is too simple. So, I would suggest listening to the majority on this one.

My daughter is 4.25. She got her Leapster 2 for the holidays. This is her first experience with any type of "game system". She hasn't played games on the computer either. I bought Disney Fairies and Pet Pals as her first 2 games. She is totally bored with Disney Fairies. She played each of the "games" on it once or twice, could do all of them (other than the Level 3 on the one game where you actually have to be able to do full blown math), and hasn't picked it up since. And she tells me it is boring. If your child already knows how to match colors, shapes, and numbers, don't even bother with this. Not worth it.

My 4 yr old daughter likes this game however I do not find it that educational more just fun. She gets frustrated when she does not have enough "lost things" to get to certain toys on the game.

This was a great game for my oldest. She was 4 when she got this for Easter and she loves to play it. She tells me about the items she puts together and how much fun it is.
This is definitely a great item for any little girl with a leapster.

My daughter loves to play this game (it's great for those long car rides). It teaches about shapes, colors, numbers, & more. It does have some games that are just for fun, which all kids need every now & then. But for the most part, this game keeps her interest & she really seems to enjoy it.

4.0 out of 5 stars One of our favorite Leapster cartridges, January 18, 2012

My daughter got this for her birthday, and it quickly became her favorite game. There are a few activities to choose from, each with its own level, so she can start at level one and make it harder as she masters the steps. She loves the butterfly game, where she has to match numbers to paint a butterfly different colors. There is also a number and letter game to catch baby fish in a water bubble and help them over a waterfall. My older son has also enjoyed playing this game (even though he says it's for girls!). His favorite part is steering the grumpy fairy, Vida I think, into flowers to gather pollen. You are supposed to steer her into letters or numbers the game asks for, but if you steer her into a tumbleweed she falls on her bum, which he thinks is hilarious.
Overall, it's a great addition to the Leapster games, and I am sure we will be playing it for months to come.

I bought this for my grand daughter for Christmas and she was very happy with it. Her mom says she loves playing with it so I'd say that's good enough for me.
