I got this OUTWIT game to go with my daughter's Leapster this Christmas. She is consistently amused by it and finds it easy to navigate. I think this is a good educational game for pre-school and kindergarten age kids. The timed challenges are simple ones such as identifying the 'misfit' in a group of similar objects, recognizing patterns in a a series of objects, and memory match challenges. It might not hold the attention of an older child who has already mastered these skills, but would be great for young children.

Before I gave the game to my son who is in first grade, I checked it out myself. In an entertaining way he gets to do the math he is learning at school. So yes, thru playing this game, his math skills are reinforced. For the occasional time he is not running around, and indeed wants to play with his leapster, this game gets my full approval.

This is one of our 5 year old son's favorite Leapster games. He has Autism and is high-functioning...great for teaching him part-to-whole concepts, sequencing, matching, categories, comparisons, logic and problem solving skills. Would be great for any 4-7 year old, though.

My 5years old son usually get bored easily, but somehow this game makes him sit still :) he learns many things, from math, shapes, colors etc :)
I even tried it myself. I found out that the game is interesting and easy to understand even for kids that couldn't read yet.

My four year old and five year old both enjoy this game. It keeps them coming back to play the games with the money they earn and to see what different prizes they win at the end. Great assortment of different types of games. Wish there were more levels to each game.

My 4 year old really loves this game. I like that the game is fun enough for her to be interested but challenging enough that I feel she is mentally stimulated.

My six-year-old granddaughter loves this toy. I have not personally used it or tried it but my daughter indicated that it was one of the best toys she received this past Christmas. She apparently has played it often.
I do think the LeapFrog games are excellent and I have purchased several for our grandchildren.
