It's a fun game, and the kids play with it. But definetly not that great. It pretty much is the same driving course, with different math questions.
Good if you child is a Cars Fanatic. But I highly recommend Sonic over this one for 5 - 6 year old. If you child is younger - maybe 4 - than this would be appropriate.

I bought this for my grandson who is 4 years old and he and I both love the game. It is no stop fun and much education. Educational items are very limited these days I fear or many people don't wish to go for the learning just for fun... I highly recommend this game for all............

I bought this game for my little boy's 5th birthday & he loves it. He has been able to figure it out on his own & is learning a lot while playing it!

My grandkids jumped with joy when they opened this toy for Christmas. They said it was exactly what they wanted. They left the room then to go play with it. No complaints from grandma - it kept the kids happy.

This game is good for learning only if the player is familiar with the leapster and good at using the button pad vs the toggle. The toggle option for play would have been good for my (almost) 4 year old. He was a little frustrated with the game. I doubt that kids past the age of 6 or 7 use this type of game system and for the age group that this game targeted, I thought it could have been simplified. The game itself is fun once the child has mastered the game systems buttons and toggle.

For Christmas of 2010 I had gotten my nephew who is 4 a Leapster 2 in green, and 3 games. The cheaper games I could find on Amazon.com so i had the power to get him a few games instead of just one. This was one of the games I had purchased for him. Now, I cant tell you how much he actually gets out of it. He's young. he isn't in school yet, he may not actually understand the games yet... But he does run and hide in the corner with his Leapster 2, and sit there with his game, and little pen, all smart looking, and he plays for hours. He enjoys it. Hours of enjoyment. I just cant tell you how much he is learning from it, since he's still a little young.

I read all info about the game and the age range, but there isn't a whole lot for little boys in the Leapster 2 world, so I bought it anyway. My son is almost 3, so it's WAY too much for him, but he will definitely grow into it and probably soon. Very cute, but a little boring.

My 5 year old daughter got this as a gift for Christmas and she just loves playing this game! I've played a few of the games on it myself and was surprised as to how much you actually can learn. Educational and fun :)

My son loved it for his 5th birthday and he has already learned so much. The game teaches math skills and they get to race. All a kid would want.

This is one our grandson really wanted. Unfortunately, we had to return it because it wasn't for the Leapster Explorer although it had been displayed with Explorer games. Items should be clearly marked when they are for different versions of the same toy.
