3.0 out of 5 stars Nice but a bit hard for a 4 yr old.
Son played this after playing the Ratatouille game. He was initially very excited about the game but found it to be a bit hard... there is a rocket game that he wanted to play but had quite a bit of trouble figuring it out. For being for ages 4 - 7 it depended a bit on reading skills... which my 4 yr old doesnt have. The game wanted the child to position the rocket...

Wall-E is one of the most versatile games I have encountered for the Leapster so far. The difficulty levels vary to the extent that my 2 year old can play several of the games without frustration, while my almost 5 year old can play and still be challenged. The game play choices are unique and interesting and do not quickly get repetitive as we have experienced with some other games. One of the games even lets you create your own custom design, so the possibilities are endless! This is one of the few games that is great for boys and girls, both from the younger and older age groups.

My son absolutely loves this game! He runs up to me every few minutes and asks me about different facts he learned, such as: "Mommy, did you know that glass can be recycled over and over again forever?!"
Our family recycles and while our son has gone along with it, he is now getting the "big picture." At the end of a game, it gives different facts about recycling and the environment. Some of the other facts include how long it takes for different objects to decompose in a land fill. Now it's my son asking ME what else we can recycle!
This game was well worth the money in my opinion!

I bought this game for my son, who just started kindergarten, and he loves it! He spends a lot of time doing the recycling game on it, and really seems to enjoy this one. He has five other Leapster games, and this one gets the most play time by far. He enjoyed the movie, so I think that is partly why he likes the game, but I definitely recommend this game for a boy or girl.

This game is great! My almost 4 yr old daughter is a huge Wall-E fan so she asked for this for Christmas. The minute she opened it (and her new Leapster 2)she played with it for an hr! She loved it and still does. She doesn't ask for help, she can do everything herself which is a big plus! My daughter is good at video games (PS2) and has played her brothers' Leapster for over a year, so I'm sure that has helped her out with playing this game, but I'd recommend it for any Wall-E fan!!

We bought this for our 3 year old and he's really taken off with it. The Leapfrog Fearning Path feature is wonderful - I love being able to track his progress and he loves to see his new achievements. The game is just the perfect difficulty level for him and he asks to play it several times a day - a nice change from the television. I'd have to say of all the games we purchased, this is by far the best.

My kid loved this game. It stays pretty true to the movie and incorporates plenty of learning about the solar system into basic game play. It is similar to most Leapster games, so experienced kids can pick it up pretty quickly. The only annoying part is the "info-mercial" on recycling that repeats every time you play that part of the game!

This game was a good game, not a great one but a good one. There are several games to choose from on the cartridge. Some can hold my son's attention (he is 5) and others are too simple to hold his interest. He enjoys being involved in games like the Batman game where you control the character through a labyrinth and make choices along the way. Overall, this game will not be one he gravitates to often but it will be one he returns to when he gets bored of the Batman and Spiderman cartridges.

I was afraid this would be too difficult for my 3 year old son, but we tried anyway so he would stop taking his 6 year old sister's Leapster. He loves the Leapster and the Wall-E game! He is learning so much.

I bought the Wall-E game for my daughter who was to recieve a Leapster 2 for Christmas. She turned 3 the week before Christmas. She loves getting on the computer and playing computer games, so we bought this to try to satisfy that need (which is hasn't, but she still loves her leapster). She loves the movie Wall-E, so we thought this would be something she would want to play. The game she plays the most is the "Creative cube stacking", where as Wall-E you complete a mirrored image, or as Eve-you blast blocks away to create a 4-way mirrored image design. At her age she also plays the Sorting and Recycling game as well, where trash is color coded, and picking one color gets rid of all connected like trash. Think Tetris. The other games are a little too old for her right now. Star gazing teaches math skills and constellation facts (printables are available as "rewards" through Leapster Connect software.) Ride to Axiom-is a navigational game that my daughter isn't that into right now, although I'm sure she needs to work on that hand eye coordination a little more to get it. And finally Axiom Action teaches letter identification and spelling for the harder levels. Overall I think it's a good game. It has a lot of learning and kids will like all the sound effects from the movie. You can set the level for beginners like my daughter to harder levels for 1st graders. If your kid is pretty smart and is 6 or 7 this might not be that challenging. The spelling is all 3 letter words, although the constellation stuff might interest them. So overall that's why I gave it a 5 star. No complaints, we're pretty happy with it. And I think as my kid develops more she will get more into it. She really likes to go online with it, and get the rewards you earn for playing. Oh and, Amazon is the cheapest place I found for the leapster games, even more so than Wal-mart, which I loathe to shop at., but when it's Christmas and birthdays, and times are tough, you gotta do what you gotta do. I hope this helps.

My daughter plays this game over and over. It was easy enough for her to learn but there are different levels for her to try. It's very educational. I find that she quotes from the game alot and when I ask her were she heard about constilations she said "My Wall-e game.". Very happy with purchase!
