My son's babysitter bought this table for him when he was 11 months old and just getting into standing for long periods. Soon, I was joking that it made her obsolete. He spent about an hour a day, in small increments, just walking around the table (there's something interesting on every side) and manipulating all the various tabs, switches, knobs, and buttons, enjoying the sounds they produced.

This toy is brilliantly designed. Here are my favorite features:

1. It's pleasant for mommy to listen to. No shrill "fake baby" voices or cacophonous "music." The piano keys play pleasant jazzy riffs that actually sound really musical. The voice is an accomplished-sounding female singing in a jazz/R&B style. There are a great multitude of sounds and songs on this toy, and none of them are hideous, jarring, or overly loud. Mommy's nerves appreciate that. In fact, many times I found myself scat-singing along with the joyful female voice!

2. The controls are all different -- not just an assortment of buttons. There's a "book" with a "page" that "turns"; there's a banjo with a neck that moves; there's a spinner; there's a compartment that opens and shuts; there's a "slide" on a trombone, etc. Flipping certain switches had the effect of changing "modes," which kept the kid engaged for long, long periods, as he tried to figure out what controlled what and what kinds of effects each switch might have.

3. There's a Spanish mode. It's always good to expose tykes to language early, and this is a pleasant start. The instrumental songs are different in Spanish mode, too; they're, well, Spanish songs.

4. It's a sturdy little table, well able to handle the weight of a leaning toddler.

About a year ago, when my boy was 2, we had to put the table away for space reasons (construction work). Just after he turned 3, we took it out again, and he lit up with joy and fell to playing with it passionately once again. That's what I call a great toy.

This is an excellent toy for infants to toddlers. We got a blue one for our son at about 6 months. It has removable legs so he could enjoy it at his level near the floor and as he has grown and learned to walk we have replaced the legs so he can still enjoy it. There are loads of tunes and sounds which keeps it interesting for kids and it takes a long time before it gets annoying for adults. The sound quality is pretty good unlike most electronic noisy toys. Two volume levels also help save the batteries. A good toy all round.

Ordered as Christmas present. Had fun playing with it before wrapping. Appealing, colorful, sturdy, teaches English and Spanish.

My 9 month year old enjoyed this a lot. We got them this for their first Xmas present. Time to time they lose interest but always come back to it and finds something new to do.

Our 13 month old daughter has had this for about 2 months. She enjoys playing with all the buttons, slides, and flipping the page on the book but it never holds her attention for more than a minute. The music and singing aren't too annoying. The only down side would be the location of the Off/ Spanish/ English switch. It is on the top near the toys and is always getting toggled. It would be better if it was placed out of the way on the underside of the table.

The only negative side of this product is stability.It's very slippery on all surfaces(carpet,tiles etc.)hope the company will correct this issue.Otherwise my 9 months old baby likes it a lot.

I love this toy. Our 10 1/2 month old daughter got it Christmas and enjoys playing w/ it. It's very durable and I love how it can grow w/ her. she's a crawler right now, so we don't use the feet, yet. But I'll be putting it up soon since she's starting to walk on furnitures. She loves this toy. She dances to the music and plays w/ everything on it. I just wish it had more song and they play longer....overall great toy for any infant to have....

My kids LOVE this toy. We are finally retiring it after 2 years. One small piece broke when we first got it, but the kids didn't notice and still really love it. Great for a little one just starting to stand up, and they'll keep playing with it long afterwords. In a sea of toys that get ignored this one is highly recommended.

We were looking for an activity table to get my daughter for her first birthday. All the positive reviews and good price led us to this LeapFrog.

From her perspective she loves it! She loves to dance and clap with the songs and never seems to get tired of them.

From our perspective, we think this is a great value for the price. It has several different instrument sound effects, singing songs and learning songs (counting, alphabet, etc.). The thing that really drew us to the Leapfrog over some of the other activity tables was the bilingual feature. My wife is Mexican and we are encouraging our daughter to learn both languages. There is a button that allows you to switch the table from English to Spanish! We loved this feature. So many toys only do the alphabet in English, so the fact that she can learn the alphabet and how to count in Spanish sold us on this table. There is a two way volume control too so you can turn down the sound half way or switch it all the way up. The table itself is very durable and offers different knobs and handles for them to pull. The main theme of the table is music, and when the table is switched into "Spanish mode" the instruments have different sounds from the English mode. We also liked that the legs are removable so the table could lay flat on the floor which is great for babies that can't walk or pull themselves up on things quite yet. It really gives the toy more growth room and allows your baby to use it for a longer period of time.

Our daughter is now 15 months old and she still seems to love the table. We are glad we bought it!

I got this toy in blue for my oldest daughter when she was a baby, she is now 5 years old. I have two girls now 5 and 2. This toy has been great. my girls and their cousins (both boys and girls) have always loved this toy. Sure their interest in it has come and gone over the period of five years, but I believe this has been the best toy in all that time. They always come back to it. Of course when I bought it I know I did not pay $75. I think it was closer to $40.

- batteries last forever, I may have changed them 5 times in as many years
- Good for a wide age range 6 months to 5 years
- four sides makes it easy to share
- sturdy enough to pullup on and last for a long time
- really taught my 2 year old her ABC song
- two sound levels (I love the quiet one)
- two modes and eight different activities to keep kids entertained

The only thing that has broken on it is the little door that you open and close.
I know that this toy is meant for just the younger ones, but so often the bigger kids like to play with "baby toys". I say if it interests them, great! All of us need some down time to do something that doesn't demand a lot of effort.

Bottom line, I recommend this toy to all parents.
