My 4 1/2 yo son is really interested in "space". This interactive pack is full of so much information and activities, it keeps him interested for really long periods. And he's retaining the information. He queries me at dinner on how many moons different planets have and other fun facts that he's picked up from this pack. The games are fun and the musical ditties are catchy. I find myself humming the solar system tune. :-)

Way to go Tag for packing so much education in such a small package. Hope you keep adding more of these to the Tag library!!

Good enough info in this pack, but instead of adding just the sticker&sheet and call it as "pack", this could have been made as a regular tag book with a bit more pages of info.
My 5 year-old son who likes to learn about planets liked it and played for a while (he likes to listen to the song of each planet), but not as much as he does with the other books.

I read the other reviewer also noted that this is way too overpriced here.
I got this book at Walmart, $13.99 with coupon that I found on the cereal box. ($5 value, yay!)
I have to say that it's not worth $25 (plus $8 shipping?? you're kidding!!), the $19 world map/US map can be a better buy here.

This is a map of the solar system. My son and i love exploring it together. There is a cute board game on the back and many fun exploration games. It is a great introduction to the solar system and space for children.

I've seen some complaints about pricing, but I just bought this recently and it's the same price as a regular book. This activity set is a two sided board with a board game on one side and the solar system on the other side with dwarf planets included. It comes with sticker sheets and a "passport" that your child can place a sticker of the planets they've learned about to keep track. I like this because it has tons of facts. It shows he moon in different phases. I wish they would've added an activity sheet that talks more about constellations. You can change the mode to tell you the distance of each planet, the temperature of each planet, how long a year is on each planet, and how long a day is on each planet. It also has "How do we know" questions that answer questions about how we know there are other planets or that the earth is round, etc. Even though it is not a book, it still has tons of information for kids to learn.

my 4 and 5 year old boys love this book. they are learning so much about our solar system, things i didn't even know. they love the music and games that go w/the book. they sing along and don't even know they're learning something as they play the games. so much better than a video game.

My son was 5 when he got this, now he's almost 7 and he absolutely loves it still! It's highly interesting and it's the most captivating LeapFrog electronic book he has. It's more durable than most people were saying - maybe other kids are rougher. It's dual sided and features an electronic game on the back. I absolutely LOVE what this book has given us. More than free time for Mom to get chores done around the house, it's given him wonderful knowledge of the solar system. He'll come to me and excitedly say some amazing space fact regarding a moon I've never heard of, or tell me how many hours a day it is on this planet or moon. This is an invaluable gift to your child. It's entertaining and very educational. Heck, you may learn something too! I pretty much guarantee this is a "must" for your LeapFrog collection!
