Product Description

Editorial Review

Wouldn't it be great to have a personal tutor, helping you study, challenging you to excel in school, even keeping you organized? Well, say "how do you do" to your new tutor and personal assistant: the IQuest handheld! This nifty little device allows students in 5th through 8th grade to prepare for tests--and have a good time while they're at it! The expandable study system, in partnership with the Princeton Review, includes questions (and answers) based on over 260 most commonly used textbooks. Kids can quiz themselves on math, science, and social studies, look up words in the dictionary, do basic calculations with the calculator, and keep on top of their school, sports, and social agenda with address book, schedule, and notepad. There's even an anagram game! The IQuest comes with three faceplates and one 1,000-question cartridge, but additional cartridges can be purchased separately for a truly expandable learning experience. Four "AAA" batteries required (not included). --Emilie Coulter

I'm 19 years old and a sophomore in college. Yes, I know I am too old for this toy. I got the older version because I was looking for a product with PDA functions without the steap cost. This is it!!!! It's amazing!!! I didn't think this toy could actually handle my very busy schedule plus I can right notes to myself very quickly before the class is over for the day.

The new one even has more features. With storage for an unlimted addressbook, 100 notes, a notes index, 15 events per day, repetition of weekly events, an alarm that will turn on the Iquest to let you know about an event at a particular time, what else could you want for $50 bucks. It also is a lot lighter, slimmer, and has a great battery life. I have change the batteries in my old one since I got it over a year ago.

I recommend this product for all middle, high school, and college students. The middle school students can use the 6-8 grade cartrigdes. The high school students can use the SAT/ACT prep cartrigdes. And the college students can use it to stay up on basic skills. Middle through College students can use it has a PDA to keep them organized. Makes a great gift year round. Buy it today!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful idea!, November 23, 2005

This review is from: iQuest: Black (Toy)
My daughters, now ages, 10 and 12, received these as Christmas gifts last year. They are total opposites, one very organized, focused, results oriented and the other a total fun, free spirit.
They both love them! My classic type A personality can keep her school work, social life and mental notes all in perfect order with this, and study while looking fabulously on top of things and in fashion, she has the purple model. My free spirit can combine her love of electronics while doing what she surely considers the boring task of studying. Both of my daughter's are A/B students and always have been but I hear less complaining about studying now. Also, the portability of these is awesome. They can use them on the way to dance class, sporting events and such, and even waiting at the doctor's office, without looking "nerdy". Also, my less than organized free spirit regularly drops, loses, and otherwise abuses her belongings, including her Iquest, and it has help up extremely well. All kids should have these!
