About the Author
Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Elizabeth Kincaid-Ehlers grew up in Michigan and in Georgia, going back to earn her B.A. at the University of Michigan, where she won an undergraduate Hopwood Award in poetry. She moved to Connecticut in 1979 as a visiting writer-in-residence at Trinity College. Featured in the first year of the Sunken Garden Poetry Readings at the Hillstead Museum in Farmington, CT. she has received many awards and prizes, including the North Country Poetry Priae and a nomination for a Pushcart Prize.
