Excellent Game System
Great Game System. Excellent graphics and great selection of games! I am very happy with this system and would recommend highly!

Defective! Common Problem with screen.
Not to long after playing with this toy my daughter experienced problems with the screen. The center of the screen did not work. After I researched this problem online, it seemed to be very common. I feel there should have been a recall.

We purchased this item as a gift from Santa for our 3.5 year old daughter. She had played with it about 10 times when in February it broke. We have tried to contact the company several times since February and they did not respond until now...April! They offered no help...not even an exchange. After this has happened, I went online to research the problem. It is evidently typically and so is their awful customer service. This is so upsetting as my child doesn't understand why her toy that Santa brought is broken and we are out what we paid for the item plus the games...almost $200! Take time to go online and read the reviews. I wish I had before i ever bought anything made by them.

You may want to check the Leapster Explorer or the Leapster-2. The L-Max is a what older system now. We owned one a while back. Had a bad experience with it. Had to get a replacment. You can check my review on it Leapster L-Max Learning Game System. But better yet, you would save much more time if you check out the LeapFrog Leapster 2 Learning Game System - Green or the LeapFrog Leapster Explorer Learning Game System (Green) instead. I have reviews on both. These are both much better systems from Leapfrog, at MUCH better prices then the price of the L-max here. The Explorer is the most recent system from Leapfrog. Do some research before you decide.
