Learn Arts and Letters 7: The Official Guide is targeted for entry level to intermediate users of the software application Arts and Letters. While the application itself is marketed mostly to entry level graphic artists and schools, a small portion of the audience is small businesses and professional illustrators. With this in mind, the book covers all aspects of the application from installation and basic tasks such as creating objects and using text, to advanced techniques such as using effects, binding text to shapes, creating charts, changing file types, using gradients, and transforming objects. Intermediate techniques such as stacking objects, using the resource library, using freeform shapes and text, importing and exporting different file types, and using hidden tools are also covered.
