Editorial Reviews

From the Actor

I'm really excited about this production! For anyone from teenagers to seniors wanting learn more about personal computers this video has definitly been produced for you. In my years of repairing, and building computers for customers I must have been asked thousands of times "How did you do that!", and "Wow, that's what was really wrong", and the one question that was always asked more than any other "Can you please teach me how to do that?" I have always tried to teach people how to handle computer related issues themselves. I had been told so many times "Why don't you write a book or something. No one has ever helped me to understand the way you do?" One day when I had just finished installing a new harddrive in a customers P.C., and explaining to her what I had done, and how I had made the repair she asked the same question that I had heard many times before, "Why don't you teach people?, you make it so easy to understand." I decided right then and there o.k. let's do it, let's produce a complete laymans guide, and we will create it as a home VHS Video so even the complete computer novice can watch, and understand how simple it can really! be to "Learn to build your own Computer"

Product Description

This was a very intersting, and educating project. None of the Camera,or set people had any prior experience in even adding minor components to our computers, much less building one, but now after watching the process while filming this video, and in the way the directions were presented we intend to custom build a new high power computer (that we needed yesterday)for our editing room.

We just could not believe how easy it could really be!
