Nothing new here,
By A Customer
This review is from: Learn to Earn: A Beginner's Guide to the Basics of Investing (Audio Cassette)
Having listened to Peter Lynch's "One Up On Wall Street" and "Beating the Street," I found this tape to offer almost nothing new except improved narration from Peter Lynch. You're better off getting one of his earlier works.

I was impressed by the content of Learn To Earn and I would buy other CD's of a similar nature.

If you do everything exactly opposite of his advice, you will protect and grow your money. If you follow his advice your portfollio will be desimated within a few years. A few examples, Peter Lynch, "buy and hold for twenty years, no matter what." Really? Don't set a trailing stop to protect yourself from catastophic events that the market and worse yet, companies just happend to go through..
Or "buy all stocks, no bonds." This is the worst investment advice I have ever seen. "Buy and hold" as a technique was abandoned, decades ago, for good reason, (can you say Enron or Sun Microsystems?),where would you be if bought and held these,"no matter what". What a moron.

Very good beginner's information. If you are starting out wanting to learn more about investing, this item would make a good starting point.
