4.0 out of 5 stars pretty good
While I can't say much for the other track, "Learn To Fly" and the Floyd's "Have A Cigar" are damn good rock songs, the latter of which is surprisingly solid. I like how FF reworked HaC and did their own thing, instead of trying to copy the Floyd's production style. I am a real Floyd fan, and can admit that many Floyd covers miss the mark.

1.0 out of 5 stars Pink Floyd can't be remixed by Foo Fighters
If you're buying this CD for the song "Have A Cigar", go and buy Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" instead. This is a such a great song, but the Foo Fighters just ruined it. It is not meant to be a hard rock song and should never be. Do not buy this album.

This one hits it, and does so rather well. Check it out if you can find it.

Wait till you hear "Iron and Stone". I dont think Dave Groll wrote this awsome song, but it has to be one of my favorite songs from these guys...

It is FAST and POWERFUL. See, that's the GREAT quality of The Foo Fighters, they can crank out loud and heavy Rock songs then switch gears and softly harmonize a girly-ass ballad. I've seen them live twice and they really have fun at a club...

If your a fan, YOU MUST HEAR "IRON AND STONE"...

4.0 out of 5 stars Better than Nothing (Left to Lose), December 10, 2000

I bought this single before the Nothing Left to Lose cameout. .... I am both a Pink Floyd fan and skeptical of covers, but FF's rendition of Have A Cicar is a perfect punked-up version to the original. FF has picked up on many of the details that make the song what it is and have utilized them in a harder version, particularly the heavy guitar intro and the agonizing yells that trail off from the chorus. --Frankly, I think Nothing Left To Lose is boring and does not measure up to their previous 2 albums. I recommend buying this single instead. ....

5.0 out of 5 stars The almighty Foo Fighters can remix any song! =0), June 30, 2000

This cd is a good cd.The song "Have A Cigar" remixed by the Foo Fighters, is way better than the Pink Floyd version. The Foo Fighters did not ruin the dang song! The Foo Fighters can remix any song and it would sound twice as better!=0)
