An Unsborne Introduction LEARN GERMAN with cassette tape is a complete and useful book for beginning learners and those wanting a compact review of the basic aspects required to learn the German language. It tells, in a comic book fashion, the story of Tanja and Eric Mueller's visit with friends and the mystery and treasure hunt that ensues. English translations are given on the same page for all captions. In addition it covers pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary in each section and uses the new information in the story.

The cassette tape contains a pronunciation guide also covered in the beginning of the book and it narrates the story line in English and has the character's conversations in German.

The book's table of contents lists the following sections: About this book, German pronunciation guide, Understanding grammar words (parts of speech definitions), (The story begins.) Nouns, Adjectives and first verbs, Regular verbs and the accusative case, Whose is it?
