I didn't give this 5 stars only because the dvd was filmed a long time ago - styles I wore as a kid in the 80's. Other than that, my kids love it, as well as other adults I recommend it to - both German and English speakers. We listen to the cd in the car, which helps even more. Love that the dvd has everything in subtitles, so readers can see the words. Sometimes the rhyme-scheme of the songs is a bit cheesey or "gezogen," but how can you expect to fit everything into place when each line is translated from one language to another the way it would be said? It wasn't made to rhyme perfectly. It was made for people to learn how to speak the way the natives do. Our house is bi-lingual - German and English. We love how this helps!
