Just wanted to let you all know that we have had more fun learning, practicing and showing off the moves taught in Learn to Hip Hop. My daughter and one of her friends taught the whole soccer team a routine that they used at Team camp for the talent contest and they WON without a doubt they were the BEST! The two girls had so much fun learning and teaching it we can't wait for the next one. Thanks it is great exercise in team building and development.

For the beginner hip hop dancer this is a terrific step by step video taught by a very talented youngster and it does even go deeper in the second section of the tape. "Learn to Hip Hop Volume 2" has alot more stuff in it and I am glad I have that as well, but this one is where your kids should start.

I tried to watch this video in the car on the tv/vcr during a trip. It was very boring even on a 3 hour drive home from Ohio.(I know you can't dance when your buckled against the seat of a car.)

I had watched it before in my home and it was a little too fast for me (even though I take dance lessons). I found myself confused trying to do the oddly named dance moves that the girl on this video did. I know its confusing that I gave this video 2 stars after I've talked so badly about it. Well, I gave these 2 stars because the moves were very interesting and looked cool if you could manage to do them.

If you decide to get this video, make sure the vcr isn't too far away so that you can rewind as many times as I did. If you want some laughs, just check out how boring and dazed the background dancers are. I had fun laughing at this video with my Mom.

The talents of the young teacher in this video are outstanding! This is a terrific video done by a fantastic nonprofit organization! Both educational and fun for even me - an adult!

This video did have some good dance moves that I have incorporated into my danceon ;) Oh yea but dont stop here keep getting other videos to learn more. this was one of my first videos I got of many.

As a beginner trying to learn hip hop, the video was helpful & slow enough for me to learn. However, the video lacks the professional quality that a video should have. Janelle should also go right with the audience when the audience goes right (which would be her left). This is helpful to mimic what she does. ... Also the video is not worth [$] for only 20 minutes where you only learn two short dances. This video would be useful for children who are very much beginners & will use this video for a while to learn the moves. Once you learn the moves, there is no reason to watch the video again because it is not exciting to watch so therefore not being worth the money...

Learn to hip hop was fun and I feel I am a better dancer because of it.

I don't know anything about hip hop dancing but after viewing this tape over and over I feel better about trying it out in a dance class that I have been afraid of going to.
