About the Author

Author Gary M. Allen, Sr., is a certified graduate of two Mixology schools who has applied his bartending skills on a professional basis for over 24 years. Besides having owned his own business – “Bartenders for Hire” – he has been employed for several years at various establishments: restaurants, nightclubs, hotels, catering companies, college graduations, and other special events. Each fall, he teaches a Bartending Course for adults at a local college. He also instructs students by private lessons in the sociable, lucrative, and fun art of bartending.

This book is a bartending manual! It is an easy read and very informative. It covers all aspects of being a successful bartender, plus tips and secrets for earning more. Bonus!-checklists and recipies. I would recommend this for anyone considering a career in bartending.
