In this pioneering work, author David Weisenbarger, a doctoral student in instructional technology, describes and illustrates, with diagrams and examples, how to photograph nude girls. Starting from his early passion for art, as expressed by lines and shapes, and then progressing to the female form, he describes numerous photos shoots, shows sample photos from each shoot, and illustrates the sets, props, and lighting positions. This book will be valuable to anyone who wants to get started in erotic photography, whether for fun or to enter the burgeoning field of internet erotic photography. The book includes some explicit photos of the author's favorite model and wife, Tatyana.

As someone that just got an SLR camera I am always looking for tips on the different adjustments available. This book assisted me in better learning what does what and how to get the effect you want.

The book gives examples for outdoor as well as indoor shooting, so there is something for every situation. Good book.

Within fifteen chapters of his book David Weisenbarger explains basic principles of nude photography. If you want to know what is the best camera and studio lights setup for getting similar pictures (like David is getting) of your girlfriend, open minded female friend or a professional model or you are curious how to make the model forget that she is nude and make her express emotions for photography to be more interesting, get this book. This book is an excellent starting point for many of us (would-be nude photographers) that want to learn fine art of female nude photography. Many of the tricks need to be tried and tested in real life situations, but it is good when there is someone who went through the process himself and is capable of summarizing the important things for us. This makes the process so much easier. I found the book useful also because the lighting diagrams in each chapter and many detailed explanations of camera setup can be used for trying to re-create similar lighting situations and therefore (potentially) similar beautiful pictures of your own. After that it is a matter of patience of each photographer to play with details in order to perfect the image. I even found the electronic format for iPod touch to be readable and good for taking notes for later use.

Photography is a combination of technique, creativity and most importantly a fundamental understanding of lighting. This book is going to give you a dose of all three of these elements in an extremely attractive and very easy to follow format. David, like myself has been behind the camera for many years and his results as a glamour/nude photographer have inspired him to share what he has learned in order to help other photographers improve their own photo techniques. Even for myself who shot portfolios and studio sets in NYC this book was and continues to be a great tool for practicing and seeking to perfect my own use of lighting and model poses in the eternal quest to get 'thee shot'. Grab yourself a copy of this book, you won't be disappointed.

I admittedly only reviewed a portion of this effort. I had not come across a photographic how-to book which was not available as a print edition much less one created by a dot com. I made the mistake of visiting david-nudes.com. It appears to be a very popular website (a Top 6,000 in general) with followers of "adult entertainment" (a.k.a. pornography). It's not something I would want someone to stumble on without fair warning (it's not a photographic how-to website). What I saw of the Kindle book was not my cup of tea. I did not see anything in this publication which offered any instruction that could not be found through other resources featuring more refined photographs.
