The clear pictures and diagrams make this the easiest way to learn the baritone uke. The summary of all the chords in the back of the book are an excellent way to find the chord you need on any sheet music. And! it the book has songs you can play while you learn. Great!

This is a very basic instructional book that is well organized and illustrated. It goes from naming the parts of the bariton uke, how to hold it, how to form chords, various strumming techniques, and allows you to use what you're learning to play 25 different songs. Large print and clear illustrations make it easy to follow along, and nice chord charts in the back make for easy reference. A fun book!

I was determined to teach myself to play the baritone ukulele, so I bought this starter book along with my uke. Very helpful to get started; I used maybe 6 of the songs included. The chord charts are great, I still use those after 6 - 7 months. After getting "stuck" about 3 months into my learning, I took a bunch of lessons which REALLY helped me improve, but I'd definitely suggest this book for starters. If you are going to start on the baritone uke, I'd suggest you get this book and a clip-on electronic tuner to make life easier.

Not really for beginners. No real lessons but quite a few nice songs. If you already can play some it's OK.
