A valuable asset when you need to learn in a hurry, March 11, 2001
This review is from: Learn Powerpoint 2000 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I recently agreed to teach a class that involved the use of PowerPoint 2000. Not having used it in about two years and never having seen the 2000 version, it was necessary to learn it in a hurry. That turned out to be a simple matter with this video. In less than two hours, I learned most of the new features and when it came time to teach the use of PowerPoint, I did so with confidence.
Snappy presentations are now considered to be a necessity in the age when your time window for convincing potential clients is so narrow. I am currently serving as a consultant for a business trying to plan a presentation for a contract well into the six figure range. They want the proposal to be perfect, so my first suggestion was a PowerPoint presentation and my second was to study this videotape to learn how to use it. There are many presentation options available in PowerPoint and by far the most effective way to learn how to use them is by seeing them in action. The style and sequence of topic discussion in this video will get you ready to make excellent, effective presentations in the shortest possible time frame.
The Learn! Series of videotapes is the most effective way to learn how to use the Microsoft Office series of products that I have seen. I have strongly encouraged the college library to obtain a copy and recommend it to all my students and corporate clients.
