I learned how to surf the first day! The step by step instruction gives a simple way to find the center of the board and gradually stand. I have recommended this video to all of my friends and I am waiting for the sequel.

I liked many aspects of the video. First, it was "to the point", succinct, and easy to understand. It's only a 1/2 hour long and covered all the points I needed to give me the confidence to go rent a surf board and actually try surfing. It was really straight forward. Secondly, it was made specifically for women. Sure, one day I'd like to shred big waves, but for now, I want to get to know the basics, so I don't feel like an idiot out there among all the people who know what they're doing.

I watched the video twice, then rented a board, and actually stood up on my second try. It's awesome.

My wife and I honeymooned in Maui and I bought her this DVD and also got her lessons with Beth the surf instructor from the video. She stood on her first wave and had so much fun! Beth is great and the video gave my wife the confidence she needed to be comfortable in the water and just enjoy herself.

Was really excited to find a DVD on learning to surf. Had read a beginners book about 3 times, but am a more visual person. Needed something to give me a little more confidence to get into the water with the big boys (and girls). Found the instruction good, simple & very basic. When it ended, I thought part 2 would start. Little disappointed that it was so short. Could have used more tips on etiquette in the water.

Well to start off I'm not a girl, but I had to watch the video with a girl. I was not looking forward to it, but I wound up pleasantly surprised. I thought it did a great job of outlining the basics for anyone male or female. It wasn't chocked full of a lot of b.s. like other "instructional" videos I have seen. I think the author or "technical type" behind the scenes should be commended. It's obvious that someone with experience was behind this effort.

Surf Instructor Beth Elliot clearly teaches you how to surf safely with confidence and also lets you have fun at the same time.

This DVD should be in every surfer's video collection!

She is really sexy/cute. I love the way she talks... very sweet. Oh yeah and you learn how to surf too. This is great because it covers the basics and makes you aware of the dangers and what to do... except if you get eaten by a shark I guess. But as I said- Beth is a total cutie so guys don't be afraid to say "f"-it and get this dvd even though this is supposed to be for women. Beth my number is 617-306-9814.

This DVD is great! Instructionally, it is layed out really well and the girls look like they are really having fun.

I thought this was an AWESOME DVD! The Step by step instruction was really easy to understand!
