From School Library Journal
YA-- Numerous clear, colorful pictures depicting proper body positions; concise directions; and instructive diagrams of the various muscle groups make this an excellent choice as an introductory title to whet readers' interest in weight training. It is easy to understand as the narrative is short but specific. Girls are shown doing just as many exercises as the guys: the instructions state when a difference should be made based on the sex. The importance of warm ups, cool downs, diet, and a personal program are also discussed.
