Could have been better,

This review is from: Learn Xcode Tools for Mac OS X and iPhone Development (Learn Series) (Paperback)
There are a few items of information to be gleaned here, but not much. Sadly, the author spends way to much space on building useless code examples. Anyone that codes on Mac / iPhone has internet access; all code should have been just supplied and not made part of the actual text to create it all. Only in the rare cases to illustrate a tool point should code have been required to be modified.
That being said, the author spends far to little time on working into deep details on the real XCode toolset. Especially the Instruments; they are given such brief coverage given their importance and lack of other available information on them. Other XCode tools and operations also receive to-brief attention. Just way to much time spent on code entry. Again, and again, and again.

Excellent primer for learning facilities available within Xcode tools suite,
This review is from: Learn Xcode Tools for Mac OS X and iPhone Development (Learn Series) (Paperback)
Excellent presentation of Xcode tools suite for Mac OS X and iPhone development. Shows how to use many facilities of Xcode tools suite that provide a grounding for your own development. Good examples get you started and are easily expanded. Very enjoyable presentation. Author promptly replies to direct requests for support. Helped me through a problem with Source Code Management facility.

This book gives me a lot of Xcode!!,
This review is from: Learn Xcode Tools for Mac OS X and iPhone Development (Learn Series) (Paperback)
Last year, I participated in an iPhone project.
Even though I have lots of software developing experiences, that was not so easy for me. Because I didn't know much about Xcode Tools. While I'm reading this book, I am surprised that Xcode has so many features that I didn't know. This book is pretty easy to read and understand and useful to me. :D

Horrible. I have never taken the time to return a book before, but this one was. The book is extremely shallow, uses poor screenshots, and has virtually nothing in it worth keeping around for reference.
