If you are a fan of Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, G. Love, or John Butler, you NEED this CD. I first saw these guys at a Uni gig when I was living in Oz, and they are one of the best bands I've had the pleasure to experience. I've since ordered all 4 of their releases from Oz. Great guitar work, funky, chill out music. My friends often get these guys confused with Jack Johnson when I'm listening to them, so, if you know Jack, then you'll want to hear these guys. I can't say enough about TBG. Buy this CD.

I would compare this album favorably to initial commercial successes by artists like Jack Johnson and Ben Harper. The songs and arrangements are amazing; this is extremely well produced and worthy of a major record deal.

Wow, I did not expect to hear this. Who ARE these guys? I was hesitant at first to order it because there was no way to hear any of the tracks, but I knew who Mason Jennings was and I liked his style so I took a chance. Unbelievable! This is album is completely stripped down, you can practically hear them recording in someone's basement. They've got a funky, chilled-out, reggae/rock vibe and soulful lyrics. This CD is a must-have if you like Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Mason Jennings, etc. or if you just love great acoustic music.

If you are a fan of Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, etc.. you will love this album. I was hesistant to purchase this at first, since I had never heard anything about the band, but I ended up making a great choice by purchasing this fabulous cd. It is unfortunate that there aren't more of The Beautiful Girls' albums in the US.

I can NOT express in words the joy that I am experiencing listening to this album(and I'm not even under the influence). Refreshing, pure, melodic, and every other positive quality in all of the previous reviews. I personally enjoy this more than the "We're Already Gone" album. It has more of a Caribbean feel. Heavy regga overtones. Good but this one has the beachier more relaxed feeling that I love oh so much.

I am a big fan of Jack Johnson and bought this CD on a reccomendation. It is a chilled-out lyric focused album perfect for summertime.

Had never heard of these guys before but am glad I found their music. Great Stuff

This is a great CD. If you have a chance to see them live, don't pass it up.

This album is dynamic in the sense that the continous is left behind. Meaning: The welcomed track derivatives bring utter joy and thanks, from and to, the creators of such well crafted listenings.
