I bought this bear for my 21-month-old son to amuse him on a long car trip. He has just become very interested in buttons, zips, etc. The bear is small so it travels well in a diaper bag. I imagine this bear is intended for older children because my son could not easily unsnap the heart on the bear's chest and even I struggle a little with the button on the bear's jacket. The buckle and tie on the bear's shoes seem as though they are not intended to be opened: the buckle is actually sewn shut and despite my best efforts I could not untie the shoe lace. The pros: the bear is cute and small. The cons: the snap and button features are too difficult to use and the tie and buckle features seem almost impossible to use.
