Editorial Review
With so much to capture their attention, babies will have a hard time settling on just one of these Lamaze Flip-Flop Activity Blocks. Visual interest is assured with high-contrast black-and-white squares alternating with brightly colored ones. For tactile exploration, some of the fabrics have smooth satiny finishes, others are plush. There's a mirror for self-adoration, a picture frame for a favorite photo, and a lady bug with a flip-up wing. When babies shake this toy, a block rattles. Pressing the star produces a squeak. Another block makes a crackling sound when squeezed. Each block is attached to another along one side. They can be left to dangle in a row or a handy Velcro fastener holds the blocks together in a square. Whether at home or on the move, a plastic link allows the blocks to be attached to a crib or stroller.
