5.0 out of 5 stars great train for girls
one of the few girl trains you can buy anywhere. thomas trains are worth the extra money you pay. they are much more durable and best of all they roll easier than cheaper (i.e. Brio) trains. This is important if you child likes to make long trains by connecting multiples together.

3.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't fit Brio tracks
I'm not sure whether this train is supposed to fit Brio brand tracks, but it doesn't. Because the wheelbase is so large (width and length) it constantly falls off the track. It's really frustrating.

Our 2.5yr old girl is always asking where's Rosie? or Rosie's having problems (fell off the track) or here comes Rosie. She's the only engine with a name along with the green one, red one and daddy's one!

My grandson LOVES Thomas Trains. I thought this would be a nice addition to his collection. I didn't realize he already had this one. So I kept this one for myself. He plays with it everytime he comes over.

Rosie was welcomed with open arms being pink!
Well used by 2yr. and 4yr. old, and holds out well.
Aids in colour recognition and magnetics.

I am an indulgent grandmother of a very enthusiastic Thomas fan. When he mentioned Rosie to me, I immediately looked her up on Amazon and had her on the way to him. He knew Rosie was in the box, even before my daughter finished opening it. When Rosie was released from her confines, he had to run get Thomas - after all, they are best friends. Rosie and Thomas slept with him that night and were brought to my house when he came the next day. Rosie is a terrific addition to a growing collection.

I have a vast collection for my grandson of Thomas the Tank Engine books, tapes, and toys. His little sister is called "Rosie" and he got a big kick out of the little girl engine with the same name as his sister. Item new and in excellent condition.

5.0 out of 5 stars Daughter loves Thomas and the girl trains, October 18, 2011

My 2 1/2 year old daughter is absolutely obsessed with anything Thomas. We bought her the cheaper wooden tracks from Ikea, but have been buying her Thomas trains to put on the tracks. Rosie and Lady are her favorites. They do seem a tad bit pricey if you don't get them on sale, but the quality is there. Buyer beware: once you buy one Thomas Train, it will never stop...you will keep buying them, and buying them, and buying them!

A great addition to his 'Thomas and Friends' wooden railway collection. He plays with it all the time. Sometimes he even brings it along on the drive over to his daycare or takes it with him at bedtime.
