Belle is a big engine who can carry and spray water to fight fires. She is featured in Day of the Diesels, the newest Thomas the Tank Engine movie. Belle helps to fight fires and then recommends Flynn too, who joins Belle later to fight the Diesel Works fire. She is very kind, helpful, and very friendly (and has a slightly odd, very slow and cadenced way of talking).

There is an episode in the TV series as well where Belle pulls into Knapford station and Toby leaves. She goes after him to say hello - she wants to be friends because they both have bells. After trying really hard (too hard, and scaring Toby off because he doesn't want to do the things she suggests), they finally get to be friends.

I love her solid wood construction and her red and blue wheels. Her blue paint is a gorgeous sapphire color. She is larger than other engines and has 8 wheels (the larger engines have a teeny bit of trouble on tight curves and steep inclines).

A great addition to my son's set because there are so few female trains.

This is a great addition to my son's train set - he loves Day of the Diesels and the new characters that were introduced - Belle and Flynn. So, he will be excited to get Belle. These trains are well made and hold up under his constant play. Great for his imagination as he reenacts scenes from the movie.

My two year old little girl loves Belle. This is the train she likes to play with the most. Belle is really cool looking too...beautiful blue color with the red accents. Plus she is larger than many of the other trains too.

Belle is mostly as expected, but I would have liked to see her water hoses more prominent. It would have been nice if they moved - but I guess that's asking too much. They just sort of blend in with the rest of the train.
My son hasn't complained though, so that's what's most important.

Another great Thomas toy. My 3 year old grandson has been playing with Thomas for a year and he loves all of them - loves the videos and books too!

I bought Belle for my nephew who loves his Thomas train set. He has most of the engines, but there were two that he specifically mentioned that he wanted to find in his stocking. I think the price was about half of what it was in a toy store. He loves it.

Belle was an instant hit with my 2 train lovers. Belle is one of the main characters in the newest Thomas movie "Day of the Diesels". It is very well designed and has very nice bright colors. Great train for reenacting scenes from the movie.

Beware! This train is advertised as Learning Curve. However, Mattel and Fisher-Price is all over the package. I did not want a Fisher-Price toy.

My daughter has been playing with Thomas trains since a little before her 2nd birthday and will be 3 in less then a month. She knows them all by name and their color. She is even starting to count how many trains she has connected. Belle is a large train and has trouble going around tight curves, but she is a Beautiful Sapphire Blue, and my daughters Favorite, after Thomas, of course!! Playing by herself, the trains may not seen educational, but her imagination is going crazy and I can hear her narrating as she plays and is more entertaining then watching the dvd's. As with all wooden trains, storage is important to durability. We had been throwing them all in a toybox, but they get chipped. Now I have a 4 drawer plastic unit. which I put the trains in one drawer, trees and people in the other small drawer and then the bottom 2 big drawers for track. it works awesome!

I bought quite a few of these toys for my 2 year old for Christmas. She has recently become very infatuated with Thomas trains. The wooden make-up of these trains makes them highly durable, yet gives them the feel of good old fashion toys. It's nice having a variety so that my kid can hook the trains together with the magnets and so that there are enough to go around when her friends come over.

I think this is a nice, inexpensive toy that can give a child hours of enjoyment.
