This is an excellent book for anyone who works with or around children with learning disabilities. It is complete in all areas. It gives techiniques and explainations for working with children wilth learning disabilites.

I have only read the first two chapters and I feel that the text is straight forward and presented well.

However, when I pay almost $100 for a new book I expect it to look like a textbook. I am in a bind because I am currently taking a class for which I need this book, otherwise it would have gone straight back to amazon. This is not a hardcover book. It looks like a bootleg copy! The inside looks like a poor photocopy (black and white only). Some pages are hard to read and have copy lines. This is not what I expected from amazon at all. I have never been disappointed in the past, but I am with this purchase. I will purchase my textbooks from a different seller in the future.

I think the cost is too much to begin with. The price of such items could be far less in my opinion, especially in the spirit of Christmas. Otherwise business as usual: adequate.

Great price for the book, compared to its new/used price at bookstores. But, there was a lot of highlighting and notes in the book, which was not specified on the books description.

I have made several purchases from Amazon during the past and have not had ANY problems (from other sellers). However, when I decided to purchase from Amazon directly, I am VERY DISAPPOINTED. As a matter of fact, disappointed twice. The first copy of this book was of very poor quality. The ink during the printing process was extremely low, the graphics are not clearly visible, the binding is misaligned from the spine of the book, it appears to be reduplicated and I thought it was going to be hardback for $97 and "new"!. So, I requested another one and one was reissued. If I did not know any better and did not still have the first copy, I would have thought that it was the same exact book. I will never choose to order directly from Amazon again, as in the past, I should have used another seller. I expected much more from Amazon, especially when ordering directly from them.

There is a lot of information that I've read in other publications, but there is quite a bit of new information as well; love the case studies.
