Wish this would work better as an actual clock and not just a toy that never gets played with. Would be nice if the hands on the clock actually worked so that it showed the actual time of day matching the digital. It only tells a time when in the play mode. Also the digital display is not illuminated at all so it is impossible to check the time in the dark. The nightlight on the top of the clock works but even when its on you still can't read the digital display. I bought this for my four year old daughter hoping she could use it to know if it is time to get out of bed in the morning since she's such an early riser but she needs to get up and turn on the bedroom light just to check the time. After all that, forget her going back to sleep again!

This thing is SO ANNOYING. We're returning it. My daughter finds it incredibly frustrating. The clock shows a time in digital and asks the child to move the hands on the clock to match the time. You can't move the hour and minute hands seperately, so you have to turn the minute hand around and around and around to get the time right, and for little hands, its not that easy to turn. The problem is that it doesn't give my daughter enough time to get the hands into position before telling her that it's wrong. She gets so upset when it tells her she's wrong, because she knows the right answer, she just didn't have a chance to enter it. We've had it for two days, and it's already turned her off to the notion of learning to tell time. It's going back. We HATE it!

My 6 year old daughter has no interest in this clock. I was hoping it would make it fun for her to learn the time. It's a cute room decoration at the moment. I wish the hands would actually work like a clock if not used for learning. The included watch came with a dead battery.
