I picked this toy bacause it has a big face on it and it also has the digital time. The one thing I really like is that the Digital time shows the actual time when not in use. This way I can ask Erin what time it is and she can try to do so. When she is playing with it it will show the time on the hands and the digital time. She has a lot of fun with this learning toy. She also likes that it came with her own wrist watch too! I recommend it highly.

Originally bought this for my 5 year old son, to help him learn to tell time. Some of the concept he gets, some of the finer points he doesn't. But he enjoys playing with it, really likes the nightlight, and my 3 year old absolutely loves it. The 3 year old insists on sleeping with it in his bed most nights, and will play with the clock and nightlight for a few minutes before he falls asleep. It's held up really well to months of play (and they still like it).

The nightlight is the large button on the top; push it and it stays on for about 3 minutes (or you can turn it right off again too). There is a volume control switch with low and high, and two learning modes: the clock tells you the time, or it asks you to set a specific time using the clock hands, giving you three tries. It has a very friendly voice (though like any talking toy, after awhile it gets maybe a little annoying to adult ears).

Two small things I'd change if I could: I'd make the hands easier to set to any time without having to be cycled sequentially through 3 o'clock, 4 o'clock, 5, etc. (you can't move them backwards - just a slight annoyance). I would also add an alarm!

Still, 4.5 stars for this fun, educational, and very durable product with great battery life. Even if your child isn't ready to tell time yet, they'll likely enjoy playing and pretending with their own cute clock.

I have a 3-year-old who is obsessed with numbers and clocks so this was a really fun gadget. In one mode, you set the time with the hands and the clock speaks the time to you and shows the time you set on the digital clock. The other setting is a "quiz" game that my little guy is not quite ready for yet. He walked around on Christmas telling everyone what time it was on "Telly." Highly recommended!

my daughter loves this toy and it is go great because it teaches to tell time and works as a night light.

Bought this for my grandson, who is almost 4 years old. It was a hit! It is well made. A great learning toy. I would highly recommend it.
