About the Author

Mark Brundett has taught in Secondary, Middle and Primary Schools and was a headteacher for a number of years. He is currently Senior Lecturer in Education at the University of Leicester and Visting Professor of Education at the University of Hertfordshire.

Ian Terrell taught in schools for a number of years before going on to teach in higher education. He is currently Principal Lecturer at Ultralab, which is part of Anglia Polytechnic University
