This review is from: Learning to Learn: A Philosophical Guide to Learning (Paperback)
People who want to improve their learning potential will find this book useful. I wrote it for a freshman seminar I taught for nine years. My students found it useful as a means to become more successfully organized individuals. However, you don't have to be a college student to like this book. If you want to improve your time management, goal setting and note-taking skills, Learning to Learn will help you. I also include a values auction to help you think about your life-goals. While I use philosophy, please do not be frightened. It is written to accomodate novices, attempting to help the learner think critically and carefully. I promise that you will find this book an excellent guide. |
