Outstanding and Unique,
This review is from: Learning from Mickey, Donald and Walt: Essays on Disney's Edutainment Films (Paperback)
I'm not sure what the previous reviewer of this volume was thinking - or reading - but this book presents one of the most comprehensive examinations of Disney non-fiction available. The scholarship is top-notch -- the authors are all experts in their respective areas -- and several of the essays examine Disney productions not discussed elsewhere, beyond a brief mention, such as Circarama and People and Places.
The book will be an asset for any scholar seeking to do additional work on Disney edu-tainment, as well as for the informed, well-read Disney fan. The essays are jargon-free, but do require thought and some degree of sophistication on the part of the reader. It's not a work of Disney nostalgia, but of intelligent scholarly analysis.

just a very general book on walt disney and disney history - thought it would be in depth - not so - good for a high school report.
