Head Full of Numbers Game
For ages 7+
Kids will have math on their minds with this game for any number of players! From one child to the whole family, everyone will love the fast-paced fun. Place the three standard dice and three custom dice (with numbers 0, 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9) into the fun dice shaker then roll them out and place them into the dice tray. Set the sand timer and have the score pad ready to record the number of unique, correct equations each player makes using the numbers rolled. Equations can use simple addition or subtraction or include multiplication and division for a more challenging game. Earn a point for each equation and 2 for any unique equations other don’t have.
A great game for differentiated learning, Head full of numbers can be modified to accommodate the needs, abilities, and learning levels of the players. Play happens simultaneously with all players, helping children who have difficulty with attention and waiting their turn. Use less dice for children who may be overwhelmed with too many equation options. Limit the type of equations being created to provide practice for the math skills children are currently working on in school. Play the game without the sand timer to allow children to have more time to process the numbers and come up with equations without the stress of time running out.
The more children play, the quicker they can remember simple math facts and increase fluency. When children master these basic facts, they hold them in long-term memory and can recall them effortlessly without having to relearn them. This automatic recall can free up their working memory to focus on problem solving and learning new higher level math concepts.

He loved it.
Past tense. Why? Because you can't have a math dice game when you have dice that have no numbers on them.
After a few supervised uses of this game the numbers just rubbed off the dice. Now, how do you have a dice game with no numbers?
He enjoys the Math Dice more.
