5.0 out of 5 stars nice globe for the money
It was inexpensive and does the job. I'm teaching geography now. My boys love this globe! They may not be able to find the tiny cities themselves, but with my help, they can. It works just fine.

3.0 out of 5 stars okay product.
The globe needs quite some pressure to look like a "globe"(then again it does leak slowly). The seams are not smooth but not too bad. For $6 I guess that's the trade-off!

The countries are just not well defined enough to use this as a teaching tool for your kids and it deflates way too easily. They will treat it as a beach ball more than anything else. Stick with an actual globe which is far more useful.

We purchased this inflatable globe for our daughter four years ago. Now we have two daughters and they are still using it. In all of that time, it has never popped or faded from the sun. The detail and durability are excellent, considering the price and material and purpose of this toy.

It works for teaching. But when giving it to kids under 6, they pretty much only kick and throw it. I think I should have just spent more for a globe that wouldn't be fun to throw and kick. And even though the price seemed right. It feels even cheaper and less durable that I thought it would be. So it works, but I wouldn't recommend it if you have any teaching in mind. And as a beach ball, there are better beach balls out there. So it doesn't do either one great.

Thick material, nice graphics with names of places, plastic loop on top that you could tie a string to.
Very cute.

I bought this for my home preschool group and my kids do play with it often. It's held up nicely. I think it will be more educational in the future since my kids are ages 2-4.

I bought this globe for my son who is living away from home for college. We've always had globes around our house and consult them often. Also, like most boys, he's got some kind of ball hanging around within arms reach at all times. I figure he couldn't get into too much trouble lobbing an inflatable globe at his room mate vs. the soccerball at the foot of his bed. Bonus #1...took up no space on the move down there. Bonus #2....even if he pops it, it was only a couple of dollars. He thought it was great.

This toy barely made it two weeks with intensive playing. The material could be significantly more durable. Not recommended over a traditional globe.

This is a great little find. My 5 yeaar old has been learning about the US as we have family in different states and we got her a globe to start getting the idea of the alrger world but it doesn't give you the topography. We just play with this as a ball and goof around about getting hit with the mountains or water etc and she learns while having fun.
