I was a bit dissapointed when we recieved these and some other sets of learning resources Jumbo animals. I expected them to be more on the thick rubbery side of plastic rather than just plastic melted together. And of course with all the lead paint scare I wonder about the paint on these??? Other wise my daughter is happy with them and likes to play with them.

These are nice big animals. My only gripe I guess is that there isn't a card telling you even each animals name they just come in plastic bags in an unmarked box - just seems strange for a teaching toy. Got them for a good deal - I don't think they are worth the retail price.

These toys are bigger than I thought. Good quality and durable. My kids of different ages are enjoying these. We have every set.

The colors are bright. My grandson, age 2 1/2 loves them. The whale is huge, like a whale should be! They are a fun teaching toy. I will absolutely get more sets of Learning Resources Jumbo animals, next will be the farm animals!

My 2-year-old boy likes these animals; he plays with them daily. Indoors he lines them up and pretends they are swimming, jumping and taking naps. He has also taken these sturdy toys outdoors into a small pool and spent hours of imaginative play.

I used a gift card I got for my kids to buy this. My daughter is 3 years old and my son is 16 months old. Both of them enjoy playing with these plastic toys. My daughter likes to line them up and name each one (We also bought the jungle animals set and the domestic animals set, so we have 17 "animals" in all). She also likes to carry one or more around with her and pretend they are her "pets" and she pretends to feed them, etc. Very cute. My son likes the giraffe from the jungle set, probably because it's the biggest piece. I think the animals will become more educational for the kids as the kids get older.
