I bought these for a midnight safari that I was going to hold in our home for my stepson's 9th birthday. The animals would be hidden all over the bedrooms and the kids were in teams armed with flashlights, safari nets (aquarium fish nets!) to "capture" the wild animals, and a cage (small plastic terrarium) to contain their "captured beasts." These worked perfectly because the animals all stood up perfectly straight so I was able to place them peeking out from under beds, on top of dressers, around corners, etc. without the plastic animals tipping over. They were also very realistic and beautifully colored. Naturally, my stepson got to keep the set as one of his birthday gifts. Loved them!

I almost did not buy them because of one review said they look cheap. Actually, they are not. They look pretty real. My 3-year old had great fun with them. He has a lot of match box cars. These animals are small enough to put on tops of them. So he could move them from one place to the other. They give toddlers somethings to imagine.

Small plastic animals, as a genre, are an excellent toy. My daughter spends a lot of time playing with hers. I ordered these thinking we could do with a few more. But they seem very cheaply made. I sent them back. I recommend you get a couple of Toobs instead -- or, better by far, invest in some Playmobil.

We love these jungle animals. We use them instead of counting bears for a lot of math projects for my preschool aged children. They provide hours of creative play. Wonderful toy.

My little guy loved these little animals. There is enough of a selection with repeats so that I could give him a group at a time. When one was eaten by the vacuum or lawnmower, we'd just grab another.

My nephew loves animals, and I log in amazon to order the largest amount of jungle animals available. Well this set mention it had 60, so I got it. Well I got five each of 12 species. I am pretty sure my nephew wanted 60 different animals, this was totally my fault for not readying well the description of this item.

My two year old has been enjoying learning the animal names and playing with them in the tub and sand box. If we lose one, no big deal as there are several of each animal included. I would have rather had more variety, however, and not as many duplicates.

I bought these for my 2 year old daughter to decorate her cake. She absolutely loves them. She plays with these animals more than any of her other toys.

I bought this as a stocking stuffer for the kids, I was a little dissapointed that it is 5 sets of the same 12 animals.. not a lot of variety, but the kids seem to like playing with them..

My toddler loves this gift. I sat down with him to teach him the animals. He repeated the names after me and was learning. I was a little disappointed that the animals were for maybe 5-6 different types. They kept repeating. I thought this toy would have a lot of various animals for my son to play and learn. I would recommend it to others but just now that there are only a few different animals in the bucket.
