We bought this toy for our son to work on matching, shapes and taking turns. We work with our son to have him match the shapes to the cards. He enjoys playing with the cookies even without us playing with him. It is hard to find games for young children and this is something you can start with. The shapes are safe and durable.

This game is great. The cookies actually look like real cookies, so kids can just play with them in their kitchen. I love that there is a variety of skill levels with the pattern cards to use...my 2 year old and 4 year old can play at the same time.

While this product is aimed at 3+, I bought this product (and two others from the goodie games range, abc and counting bears) for my daughter who has just turned two.
The cookie shapes set is excellent (and the most appropriate for her age from the three I bought). The cookies look good enough to eat (and initially there was an attempt to eat them) but they were durable enough not to suffer from the attempted bite. My daughter caught onto the concept straight away, she understood the idea of matching the cookies on the card with the physical cookies and during the first time playing with them had learnt a new word (moon). I was concerned that some of the shapes looked more cookie than shape and that this might cause confusion, but that has not been the case, my daughter understood that the cookie with the swirl was the circle cookie straight away. I love the game ideas provided and I love that there is so much opportunity to use these cookies in other ways to encourage learning. And when she outgrows the games, she has some awesome looking toy cookies to add to her toy kitchen, but I think we will be learning using this toy for a little while to come.

I bought this for my daughter's second birthday and I am not sure who loves it more, me or her. The cookies look so realistic and are a nice texture. She loves to find a "moon cookie" for mom and then passes out cookies to her baby dolls. The matching cards are a great addition and will be a fun game as she grows older. This is the perfect solution for a parent who is looking for pretend play food with a multi-purpose.

At first, I thought that this was just a baby toy. Turns out it isn't. Whole some of the games are just simple matching a pattern games (good for my 2 year old), there is a game of finding the shape with your eyes closed which is a challenge for all of my kids. It is nice to use the sense of touch to play as it is not a sense many kids are asked to develop. The cookies are adorable and could make their way into a play kitchen very easily.

As a former preschool teacher and mom, I must say this is a really useful and fun toy. It challeneges visual skills alongside coordination as kids try to re-create the "cookie faces". And there's also a great deal of shape recognition involved with using the spinner and picking the correct cookie out of the jar. I highly recommend it. Though beware that these realisitc cookies will make you crave a real one. :)
