Entry-level scientists can view it all with this durable, easy-to-use microscope that works with microscope slides and bug-corralling Curiosity Boxes. Includes battery-operated lighting (top and bottom) and a mirror for natural lighting, two interchangeable viewing stages (one for slides, another for Curiosity Boxes), magnifications of 10x, 30x and 50x and color viewing filters. Activity guide, two disposable slides, one Curiosity Box, one pair of tweezers, stir rod, and spatula also included. Requires 2 "AA" alkaline batteries (not included). Can be operated with AC adapter (sold separately).

This little microscope came promptly after 2 days from my order. My 7yo was able to see her gems/rock colection up close using a curiosity box. We made two slides using the tools included and my daughter had so much fun looking at them. She loves the color filter. This microscope is great! It made my daughter very very happy!

I was really let down by this toy. Bought this for my 10 year old son. It never worked very good. We could never get it to really focus on anything. My son tired of it very quickly and it got junked. I think it would have been worth investing in a pricier model.

I gave this as a birthday gift but apparently something is wrong with it because the light doesn't work. I am having my husband try to fix it because it's too much of a pain to have to send it back.
