its an adapter, not a 'toy'
its not "fun" or "educational" - its an adapter to something else... BUT as an adapter it works great. I dont understand why it is so expensive and wish I could have found one cheaper- but I just ordered them together so they would arrive together... It is working great to power its intended item.

DOESN'T SERVE ITS ENTIRE PURPOSE
I purchased the adapter for the timer Not so sure the items are truly compatible. The first time I used the adapter it fried the timer. I ordered another one and found out that you can not have batteries in the item as a backup. You have to use one or the other.

This adapter DOES NOT work with the time tracker. I removed the batteries before trying the adapter and the unit seemed to be getting some power but none of the functions worked correctly.

I hit the Add to Cart on the AC Power Adapter from Learning Resources that had Free Super Saver Shipping. The item I received was not the one pictured. I haven't tried it yet to see if it works b/c the item I bought it for hasn't arrived yet, but I cannot tell if it is older or newer than the one pictured.
