4.0 out of 5 stars Neat-O :)
Informative for kids, but VERY small. The pegs are super delicate. I even busted one of them just taking the pieces out of the package. The pegs & slots can make it difficult to assemble the model together. The body parts that pop out are kidneys, heart, lungs, pancreas, liver, stomach, LG/SM intestine & 2 1/2's of the skull. There are views of the brain, part of the...

the actual size of the toy itself is about 4.5". when you take it apart the pieces are really tiny and one needs crafty hands to be able to put everything back together. because the ovreall dimension is so small the parts are not detailed enough. this was not a problem for me, because i baought it for my 3 & 1/2 year old son, but he needs adult supervision with it. plus the way it's crafted is not very precise, and the pegs that hold the pieces together not positioned right everywhere what also makes it challenging to put it together. it says in the discription that it comes with a book. i'd rather call it a booklet, with very minimal information about the human body.
overall it satisfies the curiousity of my child. it shows him what is the mysterious stuff inside our body (and most importantly where poop comes from) but i don't think it is suitable for further educational purposes. since it meets only a child's level the whole thing should be larger.

The dimensions listed are for the box which holds the model, and not for the model itself. It is surprisingly small, and no where near the 9 or even 6 inches listed in the stats. Don't be fooled. I own the model; bought it here on Amazon; and am glad to have it. But wow was I surprised to see how dinky it actually is... and when I rechecked the size, I realized the size listed is the box size it came in. What a mis-representation!

This human anatomy model is fine for older children, ages 10-13, but younger ones will find the pieces too small to enjoy and too easy to lose. Some of the pieces do not fit easily in their place, making it a frustrating puzzle.

Looks good in the box but worthless learning toy. Parts are tiny and impossible for even an adult to put back together once out. I would not recommend.

Very small pieces make it difficult for 8 yr old. Pieces do not smap together and can not display on the platform without losing some; this should be able to be taken apart and put together without gluing to encourage continued education.

Bought for my 5 year old. Toy is rated for older children but even my 9 year old has trouble putting the pieces in. The body stands only about 6 inches tall so you can imagine how tiny the body parts are. My 5yo loves the topic of human body, very bright, and loves to look at pieces but needs me there to put pieces together. Not what I had in mind.

Don't be fooled - this thing is about 4 inches tall and the instructions (if you want to call them that) are minimal at best. Not a good gift. The description needs to be modified as there appears to be a type where is should read 4 1/2 inches tall and it looks like 41 inches tall...ugh. Puny!

There are views of the brain, part of the spine, a few muscles; a sufficient general overview. However, I have no idea why they thought it was necessary for the armpits & crotch to disassemble into 25 pieces.

I bought this for science this year because we are exploring biology and thought this would be great to learn about the human body. It's SMALL very very small and you have to put it together like a puzzle, except the pieces do not fit correctly and they break if you push a bit too hard. I didn't even get it together once before it broke on me. NOT happy with this at all.

3.0 out of 5 stars ~So So~, September 22, 2011
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Human Body Anatomy Model (Toy)
This product is extremely small, like it can fit in the palm of your hand. It looks quite a bit larger and I never dreamed it would be that small. It was a cool idea, but it also doesn't even have all of the organs in the little person. It was slightly helpful, but not really.
