I ordered this product thinking there would be a lot of fun things to do in the kit and would include some examples of how to use the different items creatively as they do in pre-school. Unfortunately, it's just a box with some alphabet letters, colored cups, rubber animals, etc. My daughter enjoyed sorting by color and by animal, but I could have done the same thing with various items in my house. I was disappointed with the lack of ideas that came with the product. It was way overpriced (I paid $36! and also purchased one for my niece) and would not recommend anyone else purchase it.

This is a little disappointing. The pictures are old and faded. The materials are more limited than the picture indicates. My money was wasted on this item

This is a wonderful product and a at a great price. We homeschool so this was a great way to build our manipulative base for our homeschool classroom. You can't beat the price and it comes with a nice assortment of items to cover many subjects.
I do wish it came with more animal counters, but I can add to those easily. It comes with nice 'tea cups' for sorting that can double as pretend play for tea or coffee. I love that it comes with upper case and lower case letter sets, you don't see that often. I do wish the letters were magnetic, but they are not. The picture cards are a nice touch and not manipulatives you see that often, but are wonderful to have to cover social studies. The chain links are a big hit in our house, they are used for math (patterns, sorting, counting and such) and also used to tow toy trucks and cars around! They have held up well despite being used for an unintended purpose. Add that it comes with it's own storage case and wow-this is a really great deal that no parents should pass up!This is a great investment for Preschoolers-Kindergartners.

I use the stacking cups and the pet counters to play a sorting and counting game with my 35 month old, which my 22 month old is able to join as well. She can count to three, then starts throwing in random numbers.
